First edition Day of Engineering Meierijstad!

Technology is everywhere, but how often do you get the chance to really experience what lies behind it? On Sunday, June 22, 2025, the very first Day of Technology Meierijstad opens its doors to anyone curious about the world of technology. Young or old, student, professional or job seeker - everyone is welcome!

During this unique day you literally step into the world of technology. Visit workshops, see innovative machines, meet professionals and roll up your sleeves yourself. Welding, robotics, smart technology, interactive demos - engineering comes to life!

The Day of Technology Meierijstad is an initiative of a broad cooperation between companies and educational institutions in the region, including Starcker Factory, The Chocolate Factory, Marvu, Mars, Actemium, Further Education Veghel and the Koning Willem I College. The event is made possible in part by the Municipality of Meierijstad and POM (Platform Ondernemend Meierijstad) and TVE Rec.

Free transportation and multiple locations
There are three pick-up locations in Veghel where you can use a free hop-on-hop-off bus that takes you past the central locations.
Parking is also free, including in the parking lots at Goossens (Doornhoek) and the Noordkade. From there you can easily travel to the central locations.

At Starcker Factory and The Chocolate Factory, among others, you will find an inspiring collection of technical companies. In addition, several companies will also open their doors at their own locations, such as BAS Group, VZ Service and Kessel Machinefabriek.
