At The Chocolate Factory, education, practice and innovation merge into a vibrant learning environment.

Young people aged 8 to 24 discover their talents here by working on real projects, with real technology and equipment from industry. In this Hybrid Learning Environment (HLO) we make learning tangible, meaningful and future-oriented. The Chocolate Factory is more than a place of learning - it is a place of discovery. Here the worlds of food, technology, logistics and leisure come together in one inspiring setting. From elementary school to college, from first introduction to career choice: each step is supported by educational professionals and business professionals. Together with schools, businesses and governments we build a sustainable and innovative future for the region. The Chocolate Factory is the place where young people develop both their skills and their imagination - and where learning becomes an adventure.

Hybrid learning in practice

Innovations from the Dutch manufacturing industry are taking the world by storm. In our region alone, dozens of companies are active in food-tech, logistics and related sectors. There are plenty of career opportunities for technically skilled young people. The Chocolate Factory works together with educational institutions from primary school to university to create inspiring education with a future.

In a real factory!

at The Chocolate Factory, you work in a real factory with working machines. Our model fits seamlessly with the challenges and opportunities of the region, allowing The Chocolate Factory not only to develop skills, but also to create a deeper civic engagement.

Interactive excursions

For primary and secondary schools, we provide educational and interactive excursions where students experience what it will be like to work in the manufacturing industry later in life. With technical talent, young people can make an important contribution to the food industry of tomorrow. There are plenty of issues when it comes to sustainable production, availability and the health of our food.
